The Ratings System I use

I use a Sensitivity Quotient rating. This is a tasting profile developed from physiological and environmental factors and is used to disclose the types of wine I find very easy to enjoy without any effort. This is from work done by Master of Wine Tim Hanni and Dr. Virginia Utermohlen MD.
Wine drinkers with the same profile will find that there is a very strong likelihood (not a guarantee) that they would enjoy the same wine. It doesn't restrict the enjoyment of heavy tannic wines but a review of a cabernet sauvignon by a hyper sensitive/sweet taster (me) may be different from a tolerant taster. The SQ gives a context for my enjoyment or non enjoyment of a certain wine and helps a viewer evaluate whether the wine reviewed is for them.
I also give a Monday to Thuesday score which is 5 points higher which is to give more contextually accurate score of the wine.
